Your Problem, Not Mine

Any bard representing truth and reality
Gets ridiculed, terrorized and beat upon,
For never falling prey to society’s norms
And their hurtful portrayals flaunted daily.
My candid, raw honesty scares you
You are afraid of my cynical being,
My feisty and forthrightness upsets you,
Often you wish I were a typical lady.
Anything daring your tainted ideals
Hurts your ego and idea of manliness,
Questioning your interactions with me
Allowing you to abandon me in return.
Wretching at your pathetic silent excuse
My mind, spirit, body and heart yearn,
For a being not intimidated by a strong
Intimidating person of the female gender.
Your craven reactions are very disgusting
As you hurt the ones that don’t deserve it,
Your pea-sized mindset, behavior & attitude
Hurt the prospects that good guys do exist.
