What kind of modeling experience do you have?
SarahJane: I’ve been modeling for about 3 1/2 years. I’ve done some runway for local designers and companies. I’ve worked with make up artists and hair stylists, as well as with different photographers.
How did you get into modeling?
SarahJane: I’ve always been into fashion, even as a kid. So when I was offered the chance to work in the industry I took it for a spin! I love every minute of it!
What is it about modeling that you enjoy?
SarahJane: Mainly, being transformed into some ones dream and living it. I really enjoy the rush you get when you’re in front of the camera, or on the runway kind of like an actors rush when they step out onto the stage. Plus I enjoy meeting and working with different kind of people. This is the type of work that allows you that perk often.
Is there anything in modeling that you would really like to try and haven’t got the chance to yet? If so, what is it and why are you so interested in trying it?
SarahJane: I’ve really wanted to try to work with animals for shots. I’ve heard it can be quite challenging, but I’m up for it. I love exotic looks and animals just give the shot more of that edge.
What is your ultimate goal in modeling?
SarahJane: I want to be able to work as a print model for some of my favorite designers and in the process become a respected and sought after employee of this industry.
Do you have any special talents?
SarahJane: I don’t mean to be vain, but I have several talents actually. I’m an avid hula dancer, I sing, play the piano, I do graphic designs, I can act. What else?
Do you have any role models or people you look up to?
SarahJane: I look up to my family as a whole. Everyone has their own characteristics that really stand out o me and I really admire.
If you could do a photo shoot anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
SarahJane: I would love to shoot either in an Asian province or a rural spot in Europe. I find that when fashion is mixed with history background for the shot, it just makes the whole picture stand out more.
What do you like to show off in pictures in particular?
SarahJane: Honestly? My eyes or my legs… =)
What is usually on your mind during a photo shoot?
SarahJane: It depends. Usually I’m just focusing on what I’m doing. Or sometimes, if it’s down time in between shots, thoughts of my other plans run through my head, or what I’m going to eat later.
What are you hoping to get from being featured on The Noyse?
SarahJane: I’m hoping for more exposure. What? I’m being honest!
