Meliza: Hair modeling, local runway shows, promotions, stock photography.
How did you get into modeling?
Meliza: I was encouraged from friends and family to market myself and talent.
What is it about modeling that you enjoy?
Meliza: Meeting new people, getting great results with prints, oh-and getting free clothes!
Is there anything in modeling that you would really like to try and haven’t got the chance to yet? If so, what is it and why are you so interested in trying it?
Meliza: You rarely see Asian women on Vogue, I’d like to achieve that look for my portfolio, even though I’m not 5’11”.
What is your ultimate goal in modeling?
Meliza: I’m not too serious with modeling, its mostly for fun and exposure. I just LOVE the industry and I love networking myself and meeting AWESOME people!
Do you have any special talents?
Meliza: I’m a full-time interior design student at IADT, so I’m constantly designing and coming up with concepts for a room.
Do you have any role models or people you look up to?
Meliza: My parents, they’ve worked so hard to where they want to be at right now, I hope to have the same wisdom and courage that they poses.
If you could do a photo shoot anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
Meliza: The Himalayans, I’ve never really seen it in the fashion magazines before. I think the scenery would be an awesome back drop.
What do you like to show off in pictures in particular?
Meliza: Showing diversity with my look and style in clothing.
What is usually on your mind during a photo shoot?
Meliza: Creating unique different poses I like to see in magazines and facial expressions.
What are you hoping to get from being featured on The Noyse?
Meliza: Meeting a lot of the locals in Seattle and of course to get great exposure with modeling!
