What kind of modeling experience do you have?
Lumbie: Hair style modeling, spokes model, advertising/promotions, and print.

How did you get into modeling?
Lumbie: I got into modeling in search of a career. At the time, I wasn’t quite sure what I really wanted to do. So, I thought “Modeling” would raise my self-esteem and make me aggressive. I signed up with a modeling school in Dallas called Media Agency and took modeling courses with them. I knew right away that modeling was something I would enjoy doing. Here I am today still pursuing my dream.

What is it about modeling that you enjoy?
Lumbie: I enjoy looking my best and working with people from different places. For me modeling is really a break from software development. It is so refreshing and rewarding, whether I make money or not. I learn to take good care of myself everyday.

Is there anything in modeling that you would really like to try and haven’t got the chance to yet? If so, what is it and why are you so interested in trying it?
Lumbie: Yes, I would like to get representation by big modeling agencies like The Campbell Agency, R&L Models, Ford, Elite, IMG, Karin, Wilhelmina, Next Management, LA Models, New York Models, Q Models, and many others. I also would like to be on the big magazines like Ebony, InStyle, Glamour, Elle, Fitness, etc. That would be a break through in modeling for me. A dream come true!

What is your ultimate goal in modeling?
Lumbie: I would like to have many modeling jobs or contracts and learn a lot about the modeling industry. Then, I would like to start my own modeling agency.

Do you have any special talents?
Lumbie: My talent is mainly commercial print modeling.

Do you have any role models or people you look up to?
Lumbie: Yes, to name a few: Halle Berry, Salma Hayek, Iman, Oprah Winfrey, and Julia Roberts

If you could do a photo shoot anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
Lumbie: Paris, by the Eiffel Tower. The building is so beautiful and breath taking.

What do you like to show off in pictures in particular?
Lumbie: My eyes, cheeks, lips, and body.

What is usually on your mind during a photo shoot?
Lumbie: Self-expression! I always want my photos to communicate with the audience, similar to how a piece of art communicates with the viewer. I want the photo to have a lasting impression.

What are you hoping to get from being featured on The Noyse?
Lumbie: Exposure - exposure - exposure! I can’t say that enough!

Any other comments?
Lumbie: Any talent out there would tell you that exposure is the key to success in this industry. You can never have enough exposure. I am hopeful that the Noyse Magazine would bring me closer to my dream.
