What kind of modeling experience do you have?
Clarissa: My experience has always been behind the scenes with marketing and graphic design and my new venture is to combine my experience in promoting and advertising while using human emotion and attraction.
How did you get into modeling?
Clarissa: I created a website for a friend (www.mikemichaels.net) and instead of having him pay me I asked him to get me a photo shoot with a well known Las Vegas Entertainment Photographer (www.beckettstudios.com) friend of his. I then posted my pictures online (www.onemodelplace.com) and that lead me to other photographers willing to help enhance my portfolio to start a career.
What is it about modeling that you enjoy?
Clarissa: I enjoy all the steps. Make-up to wardrobe and having fun in front of the camera. I don’t mind standing out in the cold with a little dress on. The best part for me is when I see the final product, enhance it using my graphic design skills and sending them out to agencies and companies. I love the hunt. The everyday search for an opportunity in modeling/promotion excites me. I love the hunt!
Is there anything in modeling that you would really like to try and haven’t got the chance to yet? If so, what is it and why are you so interested in trying it?

I would love to put more light onto petite modeling. I feel that all other genres are covered from kids to plus sizes, yet petite models are overlooked. You’d be surprised just how many real petite women, especially Asian women, who long for clothing companies to create clothing made for them. I look forward to opening the doors for petite modeling in high fashion/glamour.
What is your ultimate goal in modeling?
Clarissa: My ultimate goal is to make the right connections so that I can pursue all of my other passions. Filmmaking, fashion design etc. There are many ways to get your foot in the door. And I have many doors to knock down.
Do you have any special talents?
Clarissa: Outside of multimedia/design…nothing too crazy, YET!
Do you have any role models or people you look up to?
Clarissa: I admire my Father. He has lived a long and full life. At the age of 70 he moved to Las Vegas and experienced Las Vegas! Not your typical old man. I love that!
If you could do a photo shoot anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
Clarissa: New York City. Right in China Town. I want to feel the energy of the people, smell the food, be in the center of the rush, the grind. That is Glamorous, Real, Exciting!
What do you like to show off in pictures in particular?
Clarissa: A moment. Not a pose, but a simple moment that cannot be replicated, yet captured forever.
What is usually on your mind during a photo shoot?
Clarissa: Staying relaxed and having fun. I love to make the photographer laugh!
What are you hoping to get from being featured on The Noyse?
Clarissa:Exposure and experience while having an outlet to voice my opinions.
