When did you
really get into art?
As soon as I could hold a crayon, I remember drawing cartoons in first grade. It
was a bar scene, with cowboys and liquor. Rather odd for a first grader, now
that I look back on it.
How did you come to the realization that you should try your luck at art on a
more serious level?
It's more coming to a realization that trying anything else wouldn't be as
enjoyable. Art picked me. I'm just following orders, sir.
How did you discover the particular style that you have?
Hmmm, it comes from within. Consciously, you're not aware it's happening. The
interesting thing is, one can try to force a certain style, but one's true self
will eventually break through. Just don't fight the feeling.
How would you describe your style?
In my opinion, clacka-cal-clacka-cal, it's an emerging style.
Who or what influences your art?
Music, comedy, and nature. One is most influenced when they are unaware, open to
stimuli. When I visit museums, it's forced and canned, so I rarely remember
anything. Maybe how the guards gaze glossily at the guests.
How often do you create a new piece?
Sometimes, daily if it's a cartoon. Sometimes 3 or 4 times a day, if I take my
little blue pill.
What kind of success have you
had with your art?
To
continue doing what I'm doing and hopefully bring others along for the ride.
Solving global issues is not too shabby a goal, either. But how should I get
Dubya to reconsider a $6 tube of oil paint instead of a $66 barrel of oil?
What would be the ultimate goal for you and your art?
To continue doing what I'm doing and hopefully bring others along for the ride.

What do you see as an accomplishment in the way of art?
By lowering ones blood pressure.
What kind of message, if any, do you try to convey through your art?
A bird does not sing because it has an answer. It sings because it has a song.
Sum up your art in one word.
