When did you really get into art?
I dont remember but I saw many of my childhood pictures that I was about 3 years old and already making art.

How did you come to the realization that you should try your luck at art on a more serious level?
When I study graphic design in college. Back then I was going to be a graphic designer which helped me a lot to establish the style of art I have.

How did you discover the particular style that you have?
There are so many influences but one is Japanese comic, manga. I drew manga a lot when I was young and that definitely formed my drawing style. On top of that manga form, there are a lot of U.S. culture influences, such as graffiti. Also, being a designer for 5 years, I have done a lot of silkscreen concert posters. That was one of the biggest influence in my art. The idea and the technique of screen printing somehow carries into the way I make my art. In another words, I make my art screen printable even though its not going to be produced as a screen print piece.

How would you describe your style?
California Roll.

Who or what influences your art?
Manga, Graffiti or street culture, Screen printed posters.

How often do you create a new piece?
Once a week or sometimes more.

What kind of success have you had with your art?
A lot of media attention such as magazines, books, web. Also getting asked to do art exhibits from various galleries.

What would be the ultimate goal for you and your art?
I want my art to be recognized world wide. I want to keep creating something fun.

What do you see as an accomplishment in the way of art?
Recognition.

What kind of message, if any, do you try to convey through your art?
Not so much of message but I want people to react in positive emotional way. I want people to laugh, smile, giggle or feel happy by looking at my art.

Sum up your art in one word.
Fun.
